   Much ado about nothing. Remember when mosquito borne West Nile was to be a threat? Avian flu? Now swine flu?

   I agree it’s best to be prepared, but in my opionion, this latest ‘threat’ is being completely blown out of the water and is media hype driven solely by their own erroneous and/or incomplete information.

   I also challenge your “out in front” comment, because if he were he would have gagged Joe Biden.

   Your Honor,

   I owe you an apology. There was some one way “out in front” of this and the president did compliment him. It was the laying in of medication in 2005 by George W. Bush, former federal employee referred too by our magnanimous President as the ‘former administration.’

   I love your softball entries. I was looking for the Airforce 1 fly over story, or the great press conference extravaganza, or even the Joe Biden medical minute.

   Thing is, you never really know how deadly it is until it has spread, and then, it’s too late.

   In 1918-1920, the flu strain that went around the world killed between 70 and 100 million people.

   Well Fred I guess you’re a disciple of Joe “Hair Plugs” Biden. In a world with a population approaching seven billion souls, these viruses may be God’s way of “thinning the herd.”
   If you’re going to avoid airplanes you should also avoid other modes of public transportation, elevators,taxis etc..
   And don’t forget too pull on latex gloves.
   Myself, I’m more worried about being turned into a pile of cinders by some rogue state with state with nuclear weapons than what nature can launch against humankind.
