Methuen Schools Closed

Due to this storm which has downed power lines and trees throughout the City Methuen has closed its schools for today, Friday December 12th. City and National Grid crews are working to restore power and remove fallen trees throughout the city.

    Do they have an estimated time frame when ALL the power will be restored.

    Not yet. Substantial power line damage from ice with many trees downed causing additional power line damage. We are working to clear trees and with national grid to restore as quickly as possible.
