The Methuen Family Fall Festival scheduled for today has been postponed due to the forecast of afternoon rain today (Saturday October 25) until tommorow. The forecast is for a great day on Sunday, so we hope to see you there.

A real disappointment. I had heard that there was a chance that Sen Baddour would actually visit Methuen for this event.
He was in Lawrence this week giving money to the Lazarus House and at a Sheehan for Senate event with Sen Jajuga sponsored by the owner of a chain of nursing homes last week as well.
Eventually I suppose, the adage that charity begins at home will apply.
We would welcome his actually buying a table at the Holy Family Hospital Guild dinner December 4th. We really have missed not seeing him for the past number of years.

The travesty here is that the great citizens of Methuen can only hope that one day we will be saying the same thing about Bob LeBlanc

My kids and I had a great time at the festival, they especially loved the magic show. Good to see the mayor there as well.. Jules, were you there? I would have liked to have met you. I was actually wondering if I was talking to you when I was in line for popcorn.
And c’mon Bob, using a posting about a family festival to attack a local politician is unseemly of you. Keep that for the political discussions.
