The President has sent to the Senate a letter dealing with concerns over missile defense that have been raised. It is coming down to the wire, and the vote will be close. This treaty has been used as a political football, which is an unfortunate turn for the conduct of foreign policy. It should be passed, even if John McCain is having a temper tantrum over the repeal of DADT.
