The President spends his weekly address talking jobs, after the White House jobs summit and a new unemployment report showed a slight dip in the unemployment rate. The relatively good news on unemployment was a welcome relief from the string of terrible monthly reports of job losses that has created a political impetus in Congress to move a jobs program forward. It was welcome news for the President, who is under increasing pressure to show progress in putting Americans back to work.

Your Honor,
Do you think this President has done all he could to stem job losses?
Why haven’t his economic team (Pauls Volcker, Larry Summner, and some 23 other white house economists)drafted plans to stabilize and reverse job losses 10 months ago?
Why did he have a Summit in the first place? After all he invited only those who agree with his philosophies. Is that what you would do?
Are you ever going to respond to these questions?

I thought that it was the private sector’s job to solve economic issues?
Why is the government involved at all?
Quoth Jules:
”
ask the Russians, you get out of the way and let the private sector work its way out of the mess.
”
Don’t you ever get dizzy from making such circular arguments?
I know I get dizzy trying to follow them.

Fred,
Your correct, it is the private sector’s job to fix our jobs problem in a free capitalist Society.
Instead we are a Socialist country lead by a tyrant with lemming followers, such as your self.
Merry Christmas Comrade and a Happy new Year.
