I had the pleasure of going to “Common Grounds”, a thriving shop in Methuen that celebrated its 70th anniversary in business. Congratulations to the entire team at Common Grounds! Quite an accomplishment, and wonderful meatball subs to boot!

I must echo the sentiments of Gerard I have lived in Methuen over 30 years and have never heard of Common Ground. Quite frankly at first mention I thought it was some kind of Political Action Group. Then you mentioned their meatball subs. So I must ask…. Is it a Restaurant, a Catering Company or a Sub shop? Where is it located?

It is up past Rte 97 on the Methuen side of the line. It is a little deli that does an enormous lottery business (4th largest in Massachusetts).
