9th Annual Fine Art & Fine Crafts
Art Exhibit and Sale
Methuen – Autumn is here and once again, the Merrimack Valley will be celebrating its annual Art at the Library Exhibit and Sale. Talented local artists from Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts will join together to showcase their artwork.
The Arts Institute Group of the Merrimack Valley (AIGMV) is hosting its Annual Fine Art and Fine Crafts Art Exhibit and Sale October 27th – November 6th, 2010 at the Nevins Memorial Library, Grand Hall, 305 Broadway Methuen, MA. The art exhibit is open to the public Monday through Thursday 10 am – 8 pm and Friday and Saturday 10 am – 4 pm. The exhibit is free of charge and celebrates local artists. An Artist’s Reception will be held on Thursday, October 28th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Nevins Memorial Library.
This year’s art show theme is “Travels”. Keeping with past tradition, AIGMV welcomes artists working in the following mediums to participate –oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, photography, pen/ink drawings, mixed media as well as original fine artisan crafts, which include, but is not limited to wood working, beading, ceramics, glass, metal and sculpture. Come, participate and support the Arts in the Merrimack Valley.
