White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel announced that he was leaving the job of White House Chief of Staff to run for Mayor of Chicago. While some have downplayed his chances Rahm is relentless, and is one of the top political operatives in the country. While a Congressman he would routinely rack up pretty big margins in his victories, and I expect him to be formidable in this race. Chicago is a bare knuckles type of environment, which should suit Rahm fine. Today’s New York Times had a great story on the pros and cons of his candidacy. Read that here. Does this mean that he has to give up profanity?
