The President on Small Business and Jobs

The President spends this week on giving help to small business and creating jobs. A bipartisan jobs bill appears to be winding its way through Congress. Lets see if this new “era of bipartisanship” bears some results. More tax incentives for business employment are needed. Lets stop providing disincentives to the private sector on employment.

  1. Jules Gordon says:

    Your Honor,

Let’s say you own a small company. The federal government will give you a $1,000 to $5,000 tax credit for hiring a new employee. Your situation is you have enough employees for the present level of business. Why you invest $30,000+ to hire someone when you will not receive your benefit until tax time?

However, if you give the 80% of people working a tax cut and the investors a capital gains break, maybe more buyers would enter the market and you would have more customers you need to hire new people.

That’s the Kennedy, Reagan, Bush and Brown jobs plan.

Obama will keep unemployment high so he can retain his socialists policies.

Tax and spend, tax and spend.

    Jules
