Dinner with Barack!

Politico is reporting that Barack Obama had dinner tonight at the home of George Will, with other attendees being Charles Krauthammer, as well as David Brooks and William Kristol. Wow, what a dinner that must have been. How did Kristol manage an invite?

    Your Honor,

Actually, Obama has entered a hall of intelligence and reason. No hate here. No racism, which permeates the president elects season.

He will welcomed civilly. The conversations will be intelligent and helpful. There will be no mindless soundbites.

Best of all, moveOn.org will be besides themselves with anger.

The above is just a subjective view on my part.

I suspect Rush was there as well, as he did not host his show yesterday and the reason given was a last-minute meeting in Washington. I am eagerly awaiting Rush’s show today to see if that was indeed the case.

    Jules,
Too bad Rush wasn’t there. I understand that the dinner was strictly off-the-record. Krauthammer refused to give any details yesterday, and I was greatly disappointed. It should’ve been televised. I thought BHO was all about ‘transparency’, and yet wouldn’t agree to the meeting unless details were not made public. I’ve already had enough of him.

    Patrizia,

Who is the “him” you were talking about?

Bill Kristol would not give details either.

Do you think there was a food taster there?

I believe that subsequently he had a meal with a left wing group.

You mean, in contrast with his predecessor, he might be trying to govern the entire country, and not just the interests of a small part?

    Horrors!
