Franken Surges into lead

The sub-title of this post is “Jules Gordon’s nightmare”, as Al Franken has stormed into the lead in the Minnesota recount. There is still plenty of activity left, and no decision is yet apparent, but Franken has not led this fight until today. If you thought Jules was despondent after the Obama victory you have not seen anything yet. From MSNBC:

Democrat Al Franken edged ahead of Republican incumbent Norm Coleman on Friday for the first time in Minnesota’s long-running U.S. Senate recount.

Franken opened up a slight lead on the fourth day of a state Canvassing Board meeting to decide the fate of hundreds of disputed ballots.

The change was notable because Coleman led Franken in election night returns and also held a 188-vote lead before the board took up challenged ballots. But its significance was limited, with the possibility the lead could change again before the long recount ends.

    Your Honor,
I am delighted for your concern. Actually my nightmares are more local. By the time your buddy the Governor gets through with us with his new hack transportation Secretary, the election of a foulmouth scumbag Minnesotan will not concern me.

I will have my fun with Obama. It is strange your honor, but I did not feel remorse after Obama’s victory as I did not have the heart for McCain. His action since then has born out my disappointments in him.

But, as you point out, it ain’t over,’till it’s over.

There is plenty of fight in me yet.On your blog, I am the loan Conservative.
