Methuen Schools Closed Tommorow

The Methuen Public Schools will be closed tommorow, Monday December 15th due to ongoing power related problems. We are continuing to experience power outages for many residents, with the West End of Methuen appearing to be the slowest to be restored. Power has been restored to Methuen City Hall, which will be open for business tommorow. More updates as they become available.

Hello mayor Manzi. I really hope that you will choose not to send the children of Methuen back to school on Tuesday. My family just got power back today, after traveling to many different areas this weekend, and my 3 children are very exausted, and shouldnt be forced to go to school. I know other Methuen children feel the same way. There will be plenty of time to make up classes in the summer. I know you will make the right desicion regarding the people of Methuen, but I thought I would offer my input as a Methuen citizen. Thanks, -Brandon
