I recently participated in a hardhat tour of the new assisted living facility being built in the heart of our central business district, on Broadway. Developer David Spada has taken a brownfields site, spent enormous sums to clean it, and is now producing a facility that will meet a vital medical need in the Merrimack Valley. The 97 unit facility is nearing completion, and will be a welcome addition to our downtown, and a needed addition to the living and medical facilities we can offer to our seniors. This area of Broadway has seen some exciting new development, and will hopefully see some more soon.
