I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening and ribbon cutting at the Original Cafe on 88 Lowell Street. The new cafe is owned and operated by Shawn & Lori Bramble and is a welcome addition to the Lowell Street area. They are open for breakfast and lunch, and produce a delicious product. Shawn and Lori also provide catering services. Also attending was Dennis Marcello, representing Senator Steven Baddour. I have noticed that Marcello seems to be present whenever there is food. Good luck to Shawn and Lori.

I live near the Original Cafe. I stopped in to take a look around and it looked absolutely great. We brought some scones home and they were delicious. The coffee that was used is New England Coffee which is one of my favorites. Best of luck on your continued success on Lowell Street.

It is appropriate that Dennis was at this particular opening since he grew up in this neighborhood. However, it does not answer the question as to why Sen Baddour sems to among the missing in Methuen. Why does he spend so much time with Mr Jajuga in Haverhill?

Good Luck to Shawn & Lori! I’m looking forward to having breakfast there. Now Mr. Mayor you shouldn’t point a finger at Dennis for being present whenever food is around. You were in a pizza-eating contest not long ago! And after losing all that weight! And everyone knows that you’re no slouch when it comes to strapping on the feedbag. My friends and I will be in asap and look forward to seeing Bob LeBlanc, Dennis Marcello and Mayor Manzi, who by the way, has lost 18 lbs. and is sporting a new haircut. JEEEZ L.Done, you started one sentence with “My Friends…”, a McCain line, and then finish your comment with “Obama-Biden 2008-2016”! This was supposed to be a “Welcome and Good Luck” to Shawn & Lori NOT a political Ad! Now I’m thinking “The Original Cafe” is just a FRONT for Obama-Biden. You’ve ruined any chance of my visiting the Cafe until 2017! Assuming Obama wins and dosen’t run the entire country into the ground and all the small businesses with it. P.S. It didn’t help that you tossed Bob LeBlanc’s name in there, there’s a name that will blunt anyone’s appetite.

JEEZ ben nevis, who knew that you could be so easily swayed into visiting or not visiting a new venture in Methuen. Hope you’re not that easily swayed in your political leanings. Further, if people who support Obama patronize the Original Cafe, they will be a total success and also enjoy people who think for themselves.
