Who is the Real Celebrity?

Another Obama ad, trying to turn the “celebrity” issue around on John McCain. If this race will be determined by trying to figure out who may constitute the biggest celebrity this ad is very important. And since McCain broached it first I guess Obama has a right to respond. Hopefully we will move beyond determining the biggest celebrity to discussing real issues.

    Your honor,

The ad is not well produced. It lacked the irony and humor of the McCain ad. Kind of like a tit-for-tat ad. I see no lasting effect.

Next “Fact Check” in an e-mail noted that the people in the ad were not lobbyists and that McCain voted to give all companies a break.

A disturbing note I came accross is that one half of the larger corporations paid no US taxes. No detail was given. Were they all domestic, were some foreign, etc?

If this is true then someone should review tax code. No mention of impropriety was indicated and the write offs seemed legal.

Please do not confuse the moral with the legal.
