I have recently announced the formation of a High School Building Committee and named teacher and engineer Suzanne Lamoureux to head this critical City effort. I have attached the names of the Building Committee, and once again express my thanks to State Representative Linda Dean Campbell for her outstanding efforts in securing the Massachusetts School Building Authority acceptance of our High School project, one of three such approvals in Massachusetts. My thanks as well to State Senator Steve Baddour, who was instrumental in getting Methuen this approval, as well as Rep. Barbara L’Italien, who has been a true friend to Methuen. We are blessed with an outstanding delegation that works closely together to produce real results for Methuen. The building committee will soon have a web page that will detail meeting schedules and other relevant information.
