    Your Honor,

    I will give President Obama credit for creating the most massive recycling program yet implemented;

    This Speech.

    I think we have gone back 100 days and replayed a combinations of speeches with promises never carried out.

    This will as successful as Clinton/Gore paperwork reduction. Remember those.

    Nothing he has said here in anyway dissuades me from my concern of ‘Rampant Socialism’.

    Answer one question for me; How do you control a massive government entity, which is designed and funded by 600 senators and congressmen with competing ideas and constituencies and administered by a host of appointees and professionals who largely are trying to protect their jobs, grow their departments and protect their funding?

    The president doesn’t OWN the government, YET. He still must deal with congress and supervise those departments he wants to control (otherwise they will not cooperate-nature of the beast)

    Another problem is the budget.

    The budget breakdown is as follows;

    20% Military
    40% Entitlements
    13% Interest on debt
    32% Ror the rest.

    Not much left to work with. This is not Obama’s fault as it has been a long time building. But, the multi-trillion dollar hole is his.

    His reference to the 100 million dollar ‘savings’ is laughable to say the least. All media chuckles at this brag as it was much to do about nothing as will his grand plan.

    One organization depicted the budget as a large circle. The saving were depicted by a tiny dot.

    You are an administrator, do you see success in any of this brag?

    Your Honor,

    I checked the Republican response as noted by Gerard. No sing song here. Clear statement of comparative ideas. Of course the solution proposed by The Republicans will be ignored by the Democrats who have the votes. And why? No new taxes.

    I guess we will have to wait so our congress will pass Cap and Trade. I think the American people will like it. After all it’s what they voted for.

    I wonder what Cap and Trade is going to do for the cost of operating Methuen?

    See you on the other side.

    Asking a Republican for financial advice these days is like asking a plumber for legal advice. After the last 28 years, credibility is a little on the lacking side.
