Senator Ted Kennedy returned to Capitol Hill yesterday, spending a few hours with staff meetings and preparing to fully engage on the health care issue. Senator Kennedy looked great, and it was wonderful to see him back in the Senate where he belongs.

Your Honor,
This person is not one of my heroes.
He was instrumental in beginning the immigration fiasco, now he wants to do to health care what he did to immigration.

Whatever policy differences may exist are less important than seeing a man with a serious illness come back to work. He has been praised by Republican and Democrat alike for his perseverance in the face of adversity.

Your Honor,
On an earlier post announcing his illness, I wrote wishing for his full recovery.
Now he’s back boasting (in a news report) he will inflict Universal Health Care on all of us. Your words,”preparing to fully engage on the health care issue.”
Now if he is feeling well enough to return to the fray, then your admonition above is completely unwarranted, in fact, it is a Democratic trick used to gag opposition. (Other examples is a charge of racism, gay bashing, etc.)
However, I still wish him a full recovery and a complete failure at his intended political task.
