Ayers on Good Morning America

Bill Ayers is interviewed by Good Morning America. Is this interviewer the stupidest man on the planet? Ayers explains over and over the concept of a political coffee, which in a city the size of Chicago means the candidate stops in to a home to meet with neighbors and friends of the host. Arranged by the campaign the candidate does numerous events of this nature, many in a single day. Ayers manages to plug his book, and thanks to the Republicans probably sold a truckload of books that he would have never sold. Does that make the Republican Party culpable for the spreading of the Ayers radical agenda?

    Your Honor,

Now I know you don’t mean to blame the other party for promoting the book of the wonderful Mr. Ayers.

After all he is just a neighbor of your hero, The One.

You did notice he said he was a friend of The One in the interview. That makes The One a lying sack of Democrats.

It may be a good idea to listen to the whole interview before cherry picking those phrases which deems your man harmless.

Weren’t there some boards they served on together?

Between Obama’s “Chicago friends group”, I think we have achieved the first Chicago Gang presidency.

    Your Honor,

Bill Ayers was simply a man who was totally against the Viet Nam War, as most of us were at that horrible, emotional, heartbreaking time. The only difference was that he went to far as a citizen activist to stop the war and started an underground group in the late sixties. Three of his own members blew themselves up, including his girlfriend. He never tried to kill anyone; he destroyed U.S. property in order to bring attention to the fact that that miserable war that killed 55,000 American soldiers was for naught! When he stated he wished he had done “more”, he was not talking about bombing. He and his compatriots tried to do “more” to stop the most sickening war of all times. Many people agreed with his philosophy, but not with his disgusting, illegal actions.

Barack Obama was eight years old at that time. (To Be Continued)

    L. Done,

Nice defence of a terrorist. You remind me of the Arabs in the middle as chearing as 3,000 people died in the trade towers. They admired their heroes also.

    Jules.

Please reread my post. I am not defending the Bill Ayers of the late sixties, but the current Bill Ayers who is now a “Distinguished Professor of Education” at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Further, your interpretation of Arabs “cheering” as 3,000 people died on 9/11/01 is simply unsubstantiated. Most Arabs in America and in the Middle East want to live in PEACE just as much as we all do.

Also, please do not attribute or interject your questionable and irrational thoughts to me. Thank you, Jules.
