   It’s going to be extremely tough for the President-Elect, but I trust Barack Obama to keep his word and do his utmost to put America back as the #1 nation in the world.
   I think the entire universe has a renewed respect and interest in the United States.

   Which Nations are you taking about?

   The Germans and French who were stealing the Iraq’s dry while apposing our entry into the war in the UN.

   The Russians and Arabs who would not shed a tear if we disappeared from the face of the earth.

   Our brave NATO allies who fight in Afghanistan only when it’s safe.

   The Chinese who wouldn’t mind if we became a second rate country.

   Are these the countries you want us to defer too?

   If they have a renewed respect it’s because they have us where they want us. Now I understand why your holy one wants us to speak French.

   Cool your jets! Let’s wait for January 20, 2009 and thereafter for a shift in international thinking when the President-Elect takes office. Every nation will cooperate or receive the WRATH of Obama, starting with the bombing of Pakastan!!!

   Your Honor; Based on your comment, we can expect Obama to use the Bush presidency as a model starting 2 months before he takes over “power”. Sweeet.

   L.Done: the WRATH of Bush was demostrated. Obama’s is yet to be proven. Although it sounds like Obama will use the Clinton model of war at 30,000 feet. (Pakastan asprin factories, look out.)

   So I look forward to our give and take over the next four years.

   Your Honor,
   Some observations

   1. A lesson to be learned as we try to bring the economy under control, free money draws the wealthy as it does the poor folk. American Express changed it’s status to a “Bank” so it can get in hand-out line. Considering that congress is comprised mostly as lawyers, they made faulty law. Distribution is out of control.

   2. If the US is going to “rescue” the American automobile companies, it won’t wait for the Obama’s Inauguration. For my part, I think we should not rescue them. If they are to fail then maybe it will get them out of the horrible union contracts which add thousands to the cost of a car.The foreign car makers, largely in the south, are not as bad off as the Americans.

   Besides, if we help them how many other companies will get into the welfare line. (see note 1).
