Should we just call him McBush?

A pretty good ad by Obama, not only continuing to tie McCain to Bush but cleverly using the facial expressions made by McCain during the debate to advantage here. McCain said during the Al Smith dinner that Obama had a pet name for him: George Bush. As he explains himself during this ad he voted with Bush even more than his Republican fellow travelers. I wonder how President Bush feels about everyone denying any proximity to him?

    Your Honor,

    This is all poppy cock.

I think Bush doesn’t feel bad because he is in good company. Abraham Lincoln comes to mind. Remember, he won a second terms thanks to the soldiers votes, not the public. You know, long war, casualties, arrogance, etc.

But, only time will tell if Bush’s place in History is mitigated. (as a conservative he was a complete flop).

    Your Honor,

I got a kick out of Senator Obama saying that his first name “Barack” in Swahili means “That One”, and whoever gave hime his second name never thought that he’d be running for President one day! He further said he’s changing his middle name to “Steve”.
Now that is funny and cute.
