The Methuen City Council, in response to a series of complaints, has moved to prohibit the operation of dirtbikes within 500 feet of a neighboring residence. I will post the full text of the proposal online sometime tommorow, but I know this issue can be hotly debated and thought I would give that opportunity here. I have not as of yet taken a position on this proposal, which received preliminary City Council approval at their last meeting. Is it a good idea? Or is it another blow against personal freedom?
