Is this a preview of things to come tonight? Well maybe Katie Couric slipped Joe Biden the questions before she asked them. I wonder what you think. Who sounds better? Who will win tonights debate? Does Palin win just by breathing? Should be good T.V. and make for some very tough blogging tommorow. Enjoy the debate.

Your Honor,
I saw the debate.
Sara—fabulous job. Joe OK. A gentleman. His experienced showed.
You got to be disappointed.
Go ahead and kick her again.
I await your partisan spin.

I will do a separate post but I thought Palin did just fine by the standards of presence and likeability. I thought she did just fine in scoring Biden on some of his inconsistencies, and at times I felt like she was taking it to him pretty good.
My partisan feelings are that she was scripted heavily, and that she had determined at the outset to take the debate where she wanted, and not where the questions were. But on balance I think she fought him toe to toe effectively, and her ticket can live to fight another day. I am not sure Biden did as well as I thought he might, but I think he got his main points across.

Your Honor,
I assume you intend to tell me that Joe Biden and Barack Obama are not prepped?
I await your answer.

Your Honor and Jules,
Obama and Biden are certainly prepped. However, they simply are not forced-fed by tutors at an Arizona Ranch the way Palin, the maverick(?), was for 3 to 4 weeks.
(Please forgive my intrusion.)

Unless you were out at the ranch, how can you judge how much help she got. I do assume you weren’t there. I admit that Joe Biden years of experience leaves him with an extensive knowledge of that he has experienced. Like the time in 1929 when he watched FDR talk to the folks on TV. I think still has that 1929 set.
Maybe they had to lobotomize him.
Actually, you nonothing.
Jules.

If you had watched CNN, Fox or MSNBC, you would have seen Palin at an outside podium with a script and a tutor 3 weeks before the
debate. Palin couldn’t stay inside McCain’s ranch because she felt claustrophobic and was use to the fresh air of Alaska.
Jules, you may be suffering from an acute case of Maverickism because your last sentence needs editing. Actually, it’s you “know nothing”, not you “nonothing”.
