The Massachusetts Congressional delegation had three members who voted against the bailout bill. According to WBZ those three were Steve Lynch, Bill Delahunt, and John Tierney. All other members, including Fifth Congressional Rep. Niki Tsongas, voted in favor. The entire Congressional Roll Call is attached as a pdf. file.

Nancy agreed to deliver 50 percent of her caucus. She delivered 63 percent. She held her end up. Sorry Jules but it is the Republican Presidents bill, which John McCain assured us that he had worked out a bipartisan deal on. I guess he forgot to tell the Republicans.

The President’s bill was and is a bad bill because it forgives all the greed of the past and punishes no one!
Rep Frank should not have sought bipartisan agreement but produced a Democratic bill. A Democratic bill would have capped interest rates on credit cards..would have capped interest rates on mortgage loans..would have forced executives of companies who profited for so many years to pay restitution and much more to stop bleeding the American worker.
Lynch, Tierney and Delahunt voted for the American worker and not the lobbyist interest.
